Day 7: Pet Hates and Reckless

My Pet Peeves:

1. Drivers, slow drivers, drivers that cut you off, drivers that tailgate you, drivers that drive slow in the left lane, drivers that pass in the right lane, pretty much any driver who doesn't drive like me. haha.

2. Smoking.... yuck.

3. People who don't listen to their supervisor.

4. When people give my daughter things without asking, things that I don't want her to have.

5. Carts at the grocery store that bump or squeak.

 6. Late people. I hate being late, and when I am, I feel REALLY bad about it.

There is more, but I will leave it at those 6.

Day 4: What I am afraid of and Game

What am I afraid of?

I asked my husband, "Honey, what am I afraid of?" You know how he responded? "What aren't you afraid of?" Thanks honey.

Lets see. . .

Clowns
The Dark
Small confined spaces
Spoiled food
My house burning down
(do I sound like Monk yet?)
Confrontations
Talking in front of large crowds

I'm sure there's more, but I'll just leave it at those.

** EDIT** After I finished this post, and started thinking... I thought of some more I really felt called to add. On a more serious note: I am TERRIFIED of the thought of losing my husband or daughter. I have nightmares of what I would do or even how I would handle the loss of my child. My father died in 2006 from cancer and that was the hardest thing I think I have ever gone through, and I don't think I could handle going through that again with my husband, daughter, mother, sisters. Just thinking about it now, makes me want to snuggle them close to my body and tell them how much I love them.

Day 4 of Photo a Day May: Game

I promise, they ALL wont be about my daughter. :)

Molly was playing outside with sidewalk chalk today. So cute. Trying to copy daddy drawing squiggle lines "up, down, up, down" she kept saying.

Here is my "extra". Molly digging through her toy box to see what we can play with next.

Day 3: My favorite quote and Something Noisy

My Favorite Quote:

I have so many quotes, it's so hard to just pick ONE!

Each of the favorite quotes in my life have a significant meaning.

I guess today, my favorite quote would have to be. . .

"We have a secret in our culture, and it's not that birth is painful; it's that women are strong." -Laura Stavoe Harm

This quote was given to me by my midwife, as encouragement and strength during the birth of our daughter. You see, I had a home birth; completely natural without doctors, and on the couch in my living room.
I would love to tell you about it more in depth later, that is if you would like to hear about it.

Day three of Photo a Day May: Something Noisy

My daughters laughter. I love listening to her laugh, she has the sweetest laugh.

Day 1: Introduction and recent photo and New Beginning

Introduction to me:

Well I am 28, and I have been married since August of 2005 to the hairy man below.

(*disclaimer* he was NOT that hairy when I met him, he is growing it out for the Warrior Dash. WARRIOR!!!)

I work at a YMCA and have since I was 15.

As soon as my husband and I got married the first thing anyone everyone said to us was.. "when are you having a baby?" I was in NO WAY ready for that! We said 5 years. In June of 2009 I decided it was time.

So one month shy of 5 years, it happened that's Molly, the beautiful curly red head below between me and that fuzzy bearded man below born on June 22, 2010.

Thats it for day of of my daily blogging! See you tomorrow!
