Dear God,

Today makes a week since my friend came to be with you. It makes me sad that she is no longer here on earth with her friends, family and kids. However, I am happy to know that she is rejoicing and dancing with you.

It has also made me realize that time on this earth is short and we should love what we have and who we are. We should tell the people we love that we love them daily and never take anything for granted.

Thank you for everything you have given me, and everything you have taken.

When you can't sleep, blog. Right?

I guess this is as good time as any to post my FIRST post. I have been scared terrified to begin. Really, I don't have much to say-and everything to say-all at the same time. 

My purpose here isn't for anyone and everyone, it's for me. I'd like to think that this thing called blogging is going to help me release some of my...whats the word... anger? no. Sadness? no. Frustration? Maybe. Happiness? Definitely. 

I hope that I can be myself here and blog just as well as my BFF: Chickadette. (She's pretty awesome.)
